Since 2010, the Sky Velvet Vassar Music Foundation has awarded over 120 scholarships to music students with diverse backgrounds across New Mexico.
The Sky Velvet Vassar Music Foundation was established to honor Sky Velvet Vassar and her love of music.
The foundation aims to inspire and support New Mexico youth who share Sky’s remarkable passion, sensitivity and artistic talent.

Our Scholarships
Skybird Scholarships
Skybird Scholarships were established to inspire youth from New Mexico ages 8-14 to attend the Hummingbird Music Camp, a summer music and recreation camp located in Jemez Springs, New Mexico.
Starlight Instrument Scholarships
Starlight Instrument Scholarships award instruments to recipients through the generous donations of local businesses and foundation donors.
